Wine Tip of the Month: As we all know, white wines are normally served chilled and red wines are normally served at room temperature.  Over-chilling whites, however, will deaden their flavor.  Forty-five to fifty degrees is optimal for white wines. By the same token, reds that are too warm will not show their true full-bodied flavors.  Sixty to sixty-five degrees is considered best.
